Beautiful Birthday

Holy. Moly. Kids grow too damn fast. Thankfully with my art I can capture my children as they grow. I don't have many pictures of my youth or childhood, but what I lacked I made sure my children had plenty! On one side, I raised kids that know how to pose, on the other... well, let's just say I had to bribe my younger girls with lollipops in order to shoot some portraits of them the other day!

My youngest daughter is turning 4 already! So to savor this moment in time, I dressed her and her sister up for a mini shoot. I was given these adorable lace and ruffled dresses by my sister several years ago, and finally took them out for some stylized shooting! I had forgotten about the cute matching headbands until the girls started claiming who got to wear what! Luckily, they got into the modeling mood and allowed me a whole 30 minutes to play with my trusty Nikon.
